At the beginning of the nineteenth century, before the Banda Oriental was a country and its countryside stretched across a vast, uncertain territory, Ramiro Ibarra Pérez arrives in pursuit of a trail leading to a farmhouse forgotten by time. A violent confrontation reveals that death is not always final and that certain events never entered the official historical record.
